You want goals/outcomes that are Specific (focused on a specific outcome, such as losing a certain amount of weight), Measurable, Attainable. Realistic (neither too easy nor too lofty), and Timely (associated with a specific timeframe). Research demonstrates that goal setting works!

It has been said that the only constant in business is change. Meanwhile, numerous studies have shown that up to 70% of promotional events efforts fail. Luckily for managers, this doesn’t have to be the case. With proper planning, thoughtful management, and appropriate time-lines, even the largest of complex change initiatives will be successful.

If not on yours yet, I would highly advise you consider one. Prevention is better than cure. It’s a cheaper and a more effective way to organise your life and create prosperity and enrichment as well as a general well-being rather than fighting through stress when it feels overwhelming.
